The 10 Minute Morning Routine

For the mum who's already exhausted before the day's even started.

Ten minutes, in your jammies, before the noise starts. Not another thing to try harder at, just the right signals to your body before the kids come in. Start your day calm, steady, and like yourself again.

Does this sound like you?
  • You wake up exhausted, even when you've slept
  • Your chest is tight before your feet hit the floor
  • You're snapping at the kids over things that don't really matter
  • You're up at 3am with your mind racing
  • You go to bed feeling guilty about how you handled today
  • You can't switch off, even when you're trying to relax
  • Your shoulders are up around your ears by mid-morning
  • You feel on edge all the time, even when nothing's actually wrong
  • Your brain feels foggy, like it's wrapped in cotton wool
  • You've tried therapy, CBT, apps and books, and you still feel stuck

You're not broken. You're tired.

You've tried things. The GP visit that left you feeling worse. The counselling you stopped going to. The apps sitting unopened on your phone. And none of it has touched what you're actually feeling.

That's not because you're failing. It's because everything you've tried has been asking your head to fix something that's living in your body.

You're not a bad mum. You're a tired one, and there's a difference.
What's inside

Five short blocks. Two minutes each.

A simple morning reset you can do on your bed, before anyone else is up. You don't need to do all five every morning. Some days you'll do the lot. Some days just the breath. Both count.

01
Breath
Drop your body out of fight mode in about thirty seconds.
02
Body Wake-Up
Slow movement to bring your body online, gently.
03
Grounding
Out of your head and back into the room you're in.
04
Anchor
One settled moment you carry into the day with you.
05
Integration
Stand tall in it, then walk into your morning.
Plus two morning pillars, and a follow-along video with Kelly.

Why this one works

The bit that's been missing.

Not another thing to figure out. Something to feel.

Your body's been carrying too much for too long, and until you give it something it can actually feel, nothing lands on the days you need it most.

These ten minutes send your body the one signal it's been waiting for, that it's safe. Your shoulders drop. Your jaw softens. And your kids feel it too, because they don't need a perfect mum, they need a settled one.

Women I've walked with

In their own words

“I had been struggling for the last couple of years. I was feeling stuck and unable to move forward. I left the event feeling like a different person. The tension I had been carrying in my body just dissipated.”
“I usually go in all guns blazing and end up adding pressure and feeling guilty when I miss a day. With this, I can tap in and out without any pressure. I've been more consistent than I normally am.”
“I visited a skin clinic and she said a lot of my issues are from my nervous system. I'd done breathwork before but I'd never thought quick enough to use it in real situations until now. So thank you.”

Kelly Elliott
The woman behind the work

Hi, I'm Kelly.

The biggest qualification I have is that I've lived it.

I had my eldest at twenty one, and I parented from a body that was holding too much, snapping at the people I loved, drowning in guilt every night at 9pm. I didn't have the language for it then, but my body knew before I did.

What changed everything wasn't another mindset course. It was the work I did around child development, trauma, and my own nervous system, and then yoga and yoga therapy to move what my body had been holding for years.

The tools I teach are the same ones I used to find my way back to myself. That's the work I do with the mums I coach, and it's the work I'd be honoured to do with you.
